Since I can’t be at Catalina every Sunday to hang with the Mayday Garage crew (for their informal “Coffee and Rice” gathering), I thought I’d relive one of the weekends while I was back in Houston for the holidays through photos.

Other than the first couple pics at Catalina Coffee, these were the result of throwing Mayday Mikey my D800 + 105mm f/2 DC. He had his work cut out for him, bouncing around in the back seat of an IS trying to capture what he could with the tough focal length.

For some reason, I decided it would be a good idea to ride my bicycle to the coffee shop in a t-shirt the following Sunday when it was 37°F. So…no pictures from that weekend.
