Our female pet mantis gave birth!

Unfortunately we were out when this happened but I can’t wait to see the baby mantids in the spring. All 300+ of them…

She hung out to protect the utheca for a while but eventually we were able to move it to a safe container that wouldn’t let the baby mantids out into our house.
